Credenza of the Week: Perfect Lines

This photo has the perfect mix of straight lines (top of table, lamp shades, the box pleat stool skirt underneath the table) and also organic lines (the sconces, the lines in the painting and the beautiful orchid vase). It feels very comfortable and homey but is also so beautiful. I love it!

This may be one of my favorite credenzas I have seen yet. First of all, it's mirrored which I love. But I am also geeking out over these beautiful lucite lamps and the beautiful urns and greenery displayed on the bottom shelf. The symmetry of the accessories is lovely and the femininity of the entire look is just right. Gorgeous!

Credenza of the Week: Patriotic Colors

I love the symmetry of this design but also think the color pairing is extremely interesting. Though I don't love mixing a bold red with a softer blue, I appreciate that they tied both those colors together with a subtle piping on the chairs. 

More than that, I am really impressed by the chair design. I love the bones of these chairs and though I wouldn't necessarily like them that color in my home, I do love their overall shape. Very cool! Very bold!

I stumbled across this decor design from Tara Sloggett and fell absolutely in love the color of this credenza. 

It is so pretty against the white walls and next to the tall lamp. I love the monochromatic blue in the credenza and the lamp shade but more than that, I love the color pop from the lamp shade. 

Very rustic and so cool!

Credenza of the Week: Perfect Paint Job Part II

This credenza looks a lot like the one I posted last week. 

I really love this credenza because of the chocolate brown color that permeates the art work, chest, and lamp shades. The lamp bases are so dramatic but are made less subtle by the white in the art work hanging behind them. The yellow roses add the perfect pop!

I like that the piece itself is very traditional but because of the paint job and the accessories, it has a more modern flare.

Man I wish I had more room in my house! Have a great day :)

I love that this credenza was found in an old consignment store and then given a sleek new paint job to make it really stand out. I love the idea of giving great pieces a second chance at life!!

The wallpaper, lovely stack of designer books, black and white lamp and the bold black and gold frame tie the entire look together. What a perfect entry way piece!

This credenza comes to us from the home of Ellen Pompeo. Her home, which was featured in Elle Decor, features design work by Martin Lawrence Bullard. I love the details of the black credenza but also love how the ottoman, rug, mirror and framed photo play off the black. The accessories and lamp designed by Nathan Turner are perfect and look ideal in scale. Well done! I really love this piece!

I absolutely love this credenza in this kitchen!! 

I love the length and the decorative, intricate legs and also the exposed shelves. The baskets are beautiful especially with the chalk labels. The cluster of frames and the lovely lamps give it such a finished look while the greenery looks perfectly at home and help brighten the kitchen. 

So pretty!!

I really love this credenza! The piece of art and pattern of the rug are extremely playful and also create a stark contrast to the very angular lines of the credenza itself. 

Also the black and white mixed with the gold and light yellow tint in the painting perfectly pull everything together.

Very sleek and modern! Love it!

I absolutely love this beautiful credenza. Though the vases, art work and shape of the credenza are very geometric, the color pink and the elegance of the chandelier juxtapose to create a lovely, organic picture.

I definitely need more pink in my home... :)

Credenza of the Week: Little More Lellow

I found this credenza posted on design sponge and really love the very angular lines of the top mixed with the very organic detailing along the bottom. I also love a loud pop of color and the way the yellow is set against the turquoise wall. If you can't tell, I LOVE COLOR!!

Coral lamps are also super in right now. Pier 1 has a really beautiful one with a really nice shaped shade:

Credenza of the Week: Dramatic Pulls

I absolutely love the ornateness and the organic shape of this piece. The hardware is spectacular and perfectly reminiscent of the fixture carefully hung above it. I absolutely love the fixture!! It reminds me so much of the chandelier hanging in my grandmother's dinding room. The color of the piece is also beautifully juxtaposed to the dark hardwoods. Well done!

Credenza of the Week: Green Dresser

I love this bright green cabinet. What a fun statement piece to have in an entry way or hallway. The gold mirror is lovely and makes such a statement against the green while the little lamps on each end are the perfect balance and accessories.

Credenza of the Week: All About Blue

We are in the midst of a selling frenzy. I have about seven posts on craiglist at the moment since we are trying to part with all our old furniture currently in the Living Room, most of which is from college or right after. In the meantime, I'm also in a desperate research mode to find the new "look" we want to accomplish in that space. Well, I stumbled upon this old issue of House Beautiful which displays a gorgeous room in a soft blue.

I think I may be onto something...

What a comfortable and serene space. The symmetry of the lamps, side tables and chairs coupled with the soft color choice, puts the mind right at ease.

The lucite credenza on the opposing wall looks so elegant and refined.

It's sleek, simple yet makes a big impact in the room. Oh how I love this room! What a beautiful space. Happy Happy Tuesday!
